Mandisa joined Greystar in 2015 and is part of the Capital Projects Team. Over the years she has led projects ranging from renovation of student rooms and amenity spaces to managing large deferred maintenance projects. Mandisa also had the opportunity to Project Manage the construction of modular buildings from inception right through to completion. Previously, she worked for Quintain Estates within their Student Accommodation fund division, which led to her choice of career path within the construction industry. In 2004 Mandisa studied Housing Professional studies in Sheffield and had worked within social housing in Yorkshire before eventually moving to London. This experience has enabled her to recognise the importance of affordable housing and the opportunities it gives to those who may have ordinarily struggled to find a place to live and work. As Mandisa progresses into the emerging Build to Rent sector with Greystar she is excited about the opportunities ahead of her to make a difference. Mandisa is now leading with the launch of Smart technology in the Greystar UK sites with the strong emphasis on sustainability, working with Development and Construction teams from Stage 0 right through to stage 7 Building Use with Operations.
